Testing Services at ¾º²ÊÍø
The mission of ¾º²ÊÍø Testing Services is to provide the campus community with securely monitored testing venues that support the ongoing learning process.
Friends, family, and guests may not accompany test-takers into the testing room. Anyone not testing, including parents and children, must wait outside the Testing Services Office. Please read more about policies for .
Because of the close confines and size of the testing center space, Testing Services strongly encourages all test-takers to wear masks in the Center.
We offer the following Tests and Services:
Testing with Accommodations
Description: ¾º²ÊÍø students with documented disabilities may take their tests with accommodation. Tests may be taken either with the professor or with Testing Services. All accommodations begin in the Disability Services Office. Student Disability Services will review your documentation and provide you with an accommodation notification letter.

Teacher Request Form Submission Guidelines (for Faculty):

- The (¾º²ÊÍø Login required) is in Dynamic Forms. Please fill it out completely.
- Submit one form per test. List all students on the form.
- Each test should include a 3-day window for administration (except Nursing); submit a new form if the window must move.
- Submit the form at least 48 hours before the exam window.

Other Tests: If you seek accommodation for another type of test, such as CLEP, DSST, TEAS, or a Pearson VUE exam, please visit those descriptions on this site for links to specific criteria and processes.
On Test Day:
- Bring a valid government-issued Photo I.D., such as a driver’s license or passport, to present to the proctor.
- Only materials listed on the Teacher Request Form such as a calculator, notes, etc. will be allowed at the time of the test. Storage space will be provided. Discuss what is permitted with your professor, preferably before they send the Teacher Request Form.

ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills)
Description: ATI TEAS is a standardized test designed specifically to assess your preparedness for health sciences. It is a required exam for admission to Associate-level programs and certificates in Nursing and Physical Therapy. The test MUST be taken at an ¾º²ÊÍø Testing Services location; scores are not accepted from other testing sites. Scores will be accepted for TEAS tests taken 365 days before the program's application deadline.

Retests: Three attempts are allowed within 365 days from the first attempt. Retesting requires an additional registration and test fee for each attempt.
Students should checkÌýÌýto confirm available ¾º²ÊÍø TEAS testing dates at our Gardner and Leominster locations.
On Test Day:
- Be certain to bring your ATI username and password written down—you may not have digital access.
- Valid government-issued Photo I.D. and signature is required (license, student ID card, high school ID, passport, driver’s permit, etc.)
- Food, beverages, calculators, electronic devices, or personal items will not be permitted in the testing room. Storage space will be provided.
- Scrap paper and a pencil will be provided.
- Use of unapproved materials will invalidate your test and score.
- Friends, family, and guests may not accompany test-takers into the testing room. Anyone not testing, including parents and children, must wait outside the Testing Services Office. Please read more about policies for .

- Scores are instantly available following the test

GED (General Educational Development)

HiSET (High School Equivalency Test)

Pearson VUE
Description: ¾º²ÊÍø is an authorized testing site for Pearson VUE exams.
How to Register: Although some tests may vary, most registration and scheduling is done through Ìý. You will likely pay the Pearson VUE exam fee at the time of registration.
On Test Day:
Test days follow the general guidelines below, although Pearson VUE may have some differences among tests. Be sure to read their website for specific variations in process.

ACCUPLACER
ACCUPLACER is a College Board placement exam used to ensure your placement in an academic course or in an ESL course that is best for you. Before electing to take an ACCUPLACER test, consult with an Advisor (Advising, advisor@mwcc.mass.edu, 978-630-9109) to discuss the multiple measures and guided self-placement options that should be used first.
How to Register: ACCUPLACER is offered by computer and takes approximately 2 hours to complete. Walk in to Testing Services, call 978-630-9244, or email testingservices@mwcc.mass.edu for more information.
On Test Day:
- Plan for a 2-hour exam period. Completion times may vary.
- Bring a valid Photo I.D. to present to the proctor: license, student ID card, high school ID, passport, driver’s permit, etc.

CLEP (College Level Examination Program)
Description: CLEP is a nationally recognized, standardized test used to grant college credit for a variety of courses and disciplines. After taking a CLEP exam title, a 3-month waiting period is required before that title may be retaken. This is a Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) option.
How to Register:
- Visit your academic advisor or the Advising, Career, and Transfer Office (advisor@mwcc.mass.edu, 978-630-9109) to determine which CLEP tests are appropriate for you.
- Register on the . Both the College Board and ¾º²ÊÍø have fees for this test. The CLEP fee is paid online at the time of registration; the ¾º²ÊÍø fee is paid on-site in exact cash or check.

DSST (Dantes Subject Standardized Tests)
Description: DSST is a nationally recognized, standardized test used to grant college credit in several courses and disciplines. After taking a CLEP exam title, a 30-day waiting period is required before that title may be retaken. This is a Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) option.
How to Register:
- Visit your academic advisor or the Advising, Career, and Transfer Office (advisor@mwcc.mass.edu, 978-630-9109) to determine which DSST tests are appropriate for you.
- Register on the . Both DSST and ¾º²ÊÍø have fees for this test, to be paid on the day of the test. Registration and payment are onsite. Fees paid to DSST are online with a card (bring with you). ¾º²ÊÍø fee is paid exact cash or check.
